Brief History
At the present time Penélope Cruz is is one of the actresses with more international projection of the Spanish panorama. In 1990, she was selected for the group 'Caras Nuevas' (New Faces). She was made known to the Spanish public with the apparition in 'La fuerza del destino', Mecano's clip. From that time, we found small apparitions in several series of television in Spain. In 1992, she acts in 'Belle époque' and in 1999, she made it in 'All about my Mother.' These two movies are the two last acquisitions of the Oscar prize for Spain.
